Okay, so it's 11/05/2016. I changed gigs back last December, 12/7/2015 and am now a Chemical Dependency Technician for Gateway Foundation in Lake Villa, IL. I love the work. I do miss my coworkers and the work I used to do for Bowen Center Inpatient Unit back in Warsaw, IN. They were top of the line professionals, and their firm gave me my start in the human services field. But I've gone from one top of the line firm to another, and have not missed a beat so far as I'm concerned. Bowen is the premier mental health services provider in Indiana, and Gateway is the premier addiction recovery treatment provider in Illinois. The new job is similar, yet different. The clients are similar, but different. The challenges are similar, yet different. I love the work. My supervisors and coworkers here are top notch in every way.
